WHAT IS A CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The principle is that a farm supplies their produce directly to the community connecting people to the source of their food.  The value of your subscription is spread across the length of the season and helps to balance the leaner early season with the more abundant late season.

WHY JOIN A VEGGIE BOX CSA?

A subscription is an extremely convenient way to keep healthy food on your plate. It will introduce you to new veggies, encourage new recipes and most of all unearth the quality and freshness of seasonal, organic, locally grown produce that the supermarket can never replicate. It reduces food miles and food packaging. You can become informed about where your food comes and how it is grown. Plus you’ll get to know your local farmer! 

For the farmer 

CSAs are very helpful for crop planning and enable your farmer to manage the initial expenses that go into food production. It also helps us to get to know you and your veggie preferences!

All veggie boxes are filled with seasonal produce and delivered to your door within Kyneton, Vic. It’s not viable for us to handle individual item substitutions for your box however food allergies can be catered for. Subscriptions are paid in full prior to the start of your subscription.
